Collapsing buildings


With cities being created procedurally, the last step in this bunch of tests was tearing them down.  I made buildings receive random hits just for testing. After five hits they shake and collapse among clouds of debris, leaving piles of burning rubble behind. In the original game they also cracked before collapsing so players could jump off to avoid falling damage. I'll add that too at some point, I guess. 

I think most critical pieces are in place! Punches, procedural cities and destruction... Time to leave the prototype stage behind and start programming the actual game!
